Lehman College Art Gallery
Amid the lawns and trees of spacious urban campus of Lehman College, the Lehman College Art Gallery presents exhibitions and special programs and is readily accessible to the community and is free of charge. was founded in 1967 by Michael Spierman, the company's Artistic Director and principal Conductor. Lehman Center for the Performing Arts
The 500-seat Lovinger Theatre, located in the Speech and Theatre Building on the Lehman College campus, presents performances in theatre, dance, and music by Lehman College students, faculty, and guest artists. The season is enhanced by co-producing performance events with professionals from the community such as the Bronx Opera Company, Bronx Chamber Orchestra, Point Theatre, DreamYard, and Jazz Reach. For its younger patrons, Arts In Education initiatives with School District 10 culminate in a Young Playwrights' Festival of one-act plays held in the Lovinger Theatre in June.
